Re: Titan 20273 Kitchen

Having issues with the phone ringing, all other indicators work fine, but when recieving a call the only indicators are the s2u2 opens and if the phone is already on the little phone indicator at the top beside the signal bars pops up but nothing else. I am missing alot of calls. There is another thread were another individual is having the same issue.
This is the thread.

I had no issue with the 20270, but then again I only used it a few days before the 20273 came out. When the last value was added to the 20273 it screwed it up, that was I first installed it and still had 20270 partially in it, then it was updated and poof in coming calls silent visually and vocally

So far so good. The HTC task manager still makes the top bar disappear even when you dont cook it in the ROM. Speed and stability are good. No S2u2 in my ROM, the one person that called me...it came through fine. Connection arrows remain lit. Past that...no complaints. Still looking for a good task manager though. I just want everything to be closed when I am at the today screen. Not a bunch of crap still open in the background.

i really like quickmenu for that, and it gets active sync to quite running all the time.

The HTC Task manager did the same thing until I uninstalled opera mobile. Once I uninstalled it I have not seen this issue since..

If downloading manually, you will need Carriers_Titan.rar, Drivers_Titan.rar, Generic_OEM.rar, SYS_20273_QVGA.rar, Titan_Core.rar.

If you use updater and get a File Not Found error downloading Upater.exe or the kitchen help file, you MUST download updater.exe manually from http://ppckitchen.org/downloads/updater.exe and place it in c:\program files\ppckitchen.org\buildos\updater (replace the existing file)

If you haven't already installed BuildOS: BuildOS Installer
Installation Instructions

Titan kitchen is available from the Updater or manual downloads.

Bugs:
08/26/2008 - uploaded the missing Titan_Core.rar.

If you are having issues changing the themes, please check the following registry entry:

Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies]
"1007"=dword:00000028

I'm sorry if I sound like a complete newbie and idiot, but I'm having a hard time following your instructions. I have a Motorola Q on VZW and would like to upgrade from WM5 to WM6.1. Is this possible? If so, is there somewhere where I can get detailed information on how to cook my own install?

Thanks and sorry for being so ignorant.

James

Re: Titan 20273 Kitchen

i just upgraded the new rom thid morning. Alot of the hang ups that were in the 20270 rom seem to be done away with for right now. For example, the bugs with s2u2 are gone along with the phone seeming to operate alot smoother over all. My concerns are as other people have stated. The task manager makes the entire top tray blank all the way across. My other problem is a main concern;for some reason my internet won't load pages. the internet will start whether I'm using opera or IE, however if trying to go to another address, the page will not load on either on. Can anyone help on this?

You need a Q kitchen, which I don't know of existing.

Oh man! That's what I was afraid of. I'll look around to see if I can find a Q kitchen. If I do, I'll post the link here.
