He leaves them pretty bare bones.....JD also leaves his bare and the speed and free memory are excellent..(speed wise this is the best I have tried}....opening the windows directory is a good gauge for speed and his opens in about 4 seconds.......the more you add to the mogul slows it down....with are big 20mb that they gave us to play with](*,)....lol...

Because it's cool to have a partition full of programs that aren't compatible with a custom rom.

wouldnt it be nice if that partition was oh lets say about 4 GB :D

Having quite a few problems with this release, lots of random lock ups menus not showing.

Installed:
HHC
Windows Live
Dashwire
Opera Mobile
Advanced Config

I've been using this without any problems myself (so far). Having said that, I don't have all that many apps, etc.

To be honest, I don't think I can recall ever having a lock up on a DCD ROM (since I've started using them)...

Very impressive ROM. Having used, a few of DCD's previous ROMs, every NueRom build, and JD's latest, I have to say this is my new favorite. Easily the fastest my Titan has ever run, and certainly the fastest GPS lock I have ever seen.

4 seconds? JD's ROM pulls up that directory in about a half a second...

Either have I, definitely is something on my part. I did use the kitchen, so I must have picked some things my phone didn't like too much. I'll give it another hard reset tomorrow.

I can't get into the Text Message settings... which is kind of annoying because I want to disable the SMS received notification that pops up. I'll just use Advanced Config to change any settings.

edit: I'm fairly sure that HHC was causing the lock up problem, it only happened once. My phone was receiving like 3 texts from different people at a time and my HHC screen started to wig out... then the phone just kind of froze up.

A lot of hard work went into DCD's ROM... but for now, I'm sticking with N2C.
