try the drivers from here and press ##diag send to put it in dm mode http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20090

I try to put it in diag mode but it just trys to dial out.. it automatically adds the # sign after I punch in ##3424 SEND. Am I doing something wrong?

I got it!! It was the dialer I had installed.. I was able to view in qpst and erase the spc.. Now it can connect to *228 for updates! Thanks guys!
