Help with unlocking
 
I have been reading and reading trying to figure out how to upgrade my XV6800. When prompted to unplug and reconnect my phone in the unlocker, activsync does not recognize my phone any longer and I have to soft reset to get my phone working again. What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like a windows problem. Check your device manager for any hardware with an exclamation point on it.
