nueWiFiSwitch - Need to pass some args

I like the tactile feedback vibration feature of this program in conjunction with it's usage of this switch, which I have otherwise never needed.
I've become accustomed to certain presets to all the other buttons so for me this switch would make for a good launcher for "\windows\recorder.exe".
It has option to pass arguments, so I was hoping someone might know a way to have it autostart recording.
For instance if you're on a call and need to record some directions (or customer service lies) you could flip the switch up or down and it would then just start recording.

Is this possible? Or rather, what do I need to do to make this happen? I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants this!

I'm working on a shrine in advance to the first person that has the answer!

Re: nueWiFiSwitch - Need to pass some args

ah, what a wonderful idea.. I don't think the default note app has any arguments available.. (pls correct if i'm wrong)
if recording calls is a big deal, I would probly recommend Vito audio notes...
if doing it for free is a big deal, mortscipt could handle this, but i don't have ths skills.

Re: nueWiFiSwitch - Need to pass some args

Ok, yes I had forgotten about Vito Audio Notes. That allows you to not have to use speakerphone when recording calls.

Looks great, just downloaded and tried it. Unfortunately it isn't working for me. I'm using NexVisions latest rom though.

I like the "autorecord calls" function in that app, and perhaps that would be where a parameter could be sent to switch on/off.
Maybe just a simple registry entry. As this nueWiFiSwitch is a No2Chem project I suppose he would be the one to make that particular change.

not sure what build NexVision is using, but the latest from no2chem supports arguments, so you just need to find a recording app that has those options..

Re: nueWiFiSwitch - Need to pass some args

The nueWiFiSwitch isn't what I was referring to when I said VitoAudioNotes wasn't working for me.

VitoAudioNotes didn't auto-record my test calls I made to my voicemail. It was checked to auto-record but apparently failed to start.

Regardless of anything else, I'm just looking to see if anyone can get the WiFI switcher to either-

A: Set auto-record to on or off..... or
B: Launch a recording app and have it start recording.

Maybe it's just going to be another one of those things that just dies out of my ever increasing wishlist.
I'll give it a couple more days before I chalk it off.

What were you using to record calls before? The Mogul (and most WM phones) can't record conversations, no matter what software they're using.

Re: nueWiFiSwitch - Need to pass some args

alright...guess there's no way to pass an argument/parameter to start recording. That would've made for a great feature even if calls couldnt be recorded without speakerphone.

most likely not. apparently, there are some neccessary settings that come along with cooking no2chem's ROM that are needed by nueWifiSwitch. ive remember a lot of people saying it errored out in DCD's, and that currently only no2chem's ROM cooked in ppcgeeks kitchen is the only one compatible. iirc, n2c is working on a cab.
