Esn Swap with a q9m

I'm looking at buying a Verizon XV6800 with a bad esn, is it possible to change the esn to the one on the Q9M that I currently have in order to get a "good" esn? I tried searching but the 3 characters of ESN does not lend well to the search function.

Thanks!

Not legally. Forget any further discussion here. You may get lucky on Google but legally it isn't. Why is it a bad ESN?

Re: Esn Swap with a q9m

its not worth it. one, its not allowed to be discussed on these forums. two, its not legal. and three, for all the trouble you go through in spending a ~$50 bucks for a mogul with a bad esn and swapping it, you can buy a brand new one for about $100-150 dollars from best buy that will work far better than a used one.
