Advice please...

So I am now officially an ex Sprint customer. My numbers were successfully ported to AT&T yesterday, and my Tilts are now active.

My old PPC-6700 is going to become "brain" on my treadmill. My wife actually dropped her 6700 a little over a week ago, and it stopped working. She was sent a brand new Mogul as a replacement.

I want to use that mogul as a carputer/GPS unit. It obviously won't have phone service, but the GPS should still work, right?

What would be the best ROM for this? No carrier customizations at all. Just the absolute fastest ROM, with working GPS/Bluetooth/WiFi/etc.

In fact, is there a Cricket ROM that is totally fast with working GPS? Cricket is in my area here, and they let you sign up with no contracts, month to month. So it would be cool if I ever needed to activate it for some reason (get data or something) if I could just call Cricket and get it activated for a month.

Is there a ROM that anyone could suggest for me? And would it be ready to go on Cricket or what would I have to do to get it ready to go on Cricket?

Re: Advice please...

First of you will need GPS software with the maps already in storage, because most of the free ones (google maps, live search, etc) need a data connection to download maps.
As for fastest im using dcd 3.2.5 and its really fast. And he has a cricket carrier cab.
