Have been on this site for several months now and I am having problems searching. Its not the most friendliest search there is. So how bout takin it easy on newer people. No need to belittle people.

I know the feeling. It seems that a big problem is using a three letter or shorter word: the search function doesn't like short words. Try searching for "OEM". That term is in every fourth post on the site and the search turns up ZERO results. So does "HTC", which is odd, since at least 50% of the people on this site have a device made by HTC. I know this is off topic a little bit, but the truth is that newbies can easily get overwhelmed because there are so many threads and it isn't always that easy to use the search function. That being said, a search for "GAMES" is actually a little easier. I think the key for using the search function is to use the advanced search and be device specific and try looking for titles of threads before searching all posts. Just my 2 cents.

to make the search function work better.. Go into advanced search and search in titles only rather than the whole post. You will come up with better results..

But yah that 3 letter word thing gets me alot too.
