Re: SD card not recognized after update
on the titan, there is a tiny switch inside that lets the phone know when there is a card inserted.. sometimes I don't push the card in far enough to trigger the switch (but it will still stay in the phone) you could try pushing it in just a bit further when inserting, but it kinda sounds like the switch may be broken... TEP??

Re: SD card not recognized after update
I actually have a semi-similar problem that I have yet to post on the nuerom forum. The microsd cards are all fat32 formatted and are readable on my mogul, and can be used through the phone on the computer registering them as mass storage decives (kind of funny when there are terabyte externals but I digress...) Problem that I have been having is the three cards that have come in contact with my phone are no longer readable by my digital camera. The camera automaticall unlocks the SD adapter upon insertion so that is not the issue, but it does give me a "Bad Card" error. It is not a problem with the camera as I have a fourth microsd card that the camera can read, this fourth card hasn't come in contact with a phone loaded with no2chem's pre8.
I have tried formating the cards in several different devices to no avail. |

I have tried hard resetting twice and reflashed, but still the same problem. I am going to stop by sprint after work and see what they think. I am just worried that if they give me a new phone and I update it, that I will have the same problem that I do now. |

Re: SD card not recognized after update
I had a similar problem, I unlocked my Titan using the SD upgrade bootloader method (which formatted my 2GB San Disk Card in the process). I cooked a custom Rom but it wouldn't boot past the splash screen. Since I was out of time to re-cook and see what was preventing the boot I flashed the latest Sprint ROM. I copied a few files via activesync and left the office.
At home I tried to restore the backup of my card and got stuck in a loop formatting FAT32 on the PC then the Titan formatting it to RAW. After searching I found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/arch.../t-273487.html It suggested formatting the card in a digital camera. I did, and it worked like a charm! My card is now visable in the PC and PPC. Just thought I'd share the love, props to XDA. |
