yes that is what you need to do.....flash stock roms until you get one to take it......then un-lock after......you have to get a stock rom on first or you will continue to have issues.....you may have to try more than once and you may need to try from sdcard......formatted at FAT32....pull the signed NBH file out of the ROM and rename it to TITAIMG.NBH.....and then place it on the card and enter BL....follow on screen prompts after that.....

This is weird...
I bought a used XV6800 in may; the guy i got it from said he got right when it came out in like december of 2007. So peeblo flashed the sprint rom with not issues what so ever; unfortunately my phone was destroyed 2 weeks ago so i got another one from insurance and when peeblo did the update with the sprint rom on my new phone, the internet would not work and i coulnt make any calls. So we went back and tried uploading the sprint rom again only this time he downloaded from another source but for some reason it would always stop at 11%!

EDIT: The spring rom 3.56 (rom only, no radio) DOES NOT install successfully, it stop around 59%. however the dcd 3.2.5 DOES but that causes the phone to reset every 5 seconds!!!

I dont know why we are having such a hard time with this one....! If its the same phone y wouldnt it just update as easy as the first one?

PROBLEM FIXED!!!!!!

and yes...when i went back to the stock verizon rom it did work. I had to call vzw to have them issue me a new a-key because the "phone could not be authenticated"

So what i did was..... upgrade the bootloader to 2.40. Appearently 1.xx only works for pre gps roms and the 2.40 is for gps roms. Since i was going from verizon stock (pre-gps) to the new sprint rom (gps) i had to update the bootloader. nueSPL would NOT update it, so i had to use the hard-spl to update it. Once it was at 2.40, i ran the exe for the sprint rom and everything went through!!!

Also, NOTHING would flash from sd, strange i know.

NEW PROBLEM!!!!
After uploading the sprint rom the internet would not work!!!!!
So we are going back to the VZW rom to c if there is a problem with the network.
