+1 for the problem and +1 for the Resco resolution...

Never really had a need to purchase Resco as the stock File Explorer has been fine, but I went ahead and picked it up since it is a better file explorer.

Re: JD's ROM's

I been playing for a while now......has anyone had any problems changing themes in the dialer or the today screen....I am trying to isolate the problem to my own mistake I think I had a bad file.....just wondering if anyone tried changing the .tsk files...I uninstalled some of the files I used but I still cannot get the today screen to take it.....pictures are no problem

Forget it I found the problem.....2 files were corrupted....

I'm still wanting to try this, but I have to ask again.............is there a way to put in IRDA drivers?

I searched and came up empty. TIA.

Re: JD's ROM's

JD, it doesn't really appear that the SD driver for USB mass storage class isn't very stable... As a matter of fact, it won't stay connected to my laptop for more than a minute or so before it disconnects and to even get the card to reappear on my phone, I have to soft reset.

agreed, i couldnt even use that option at all. the comp said it found a mass storage device but thats it- nothing else came up and i couldnt access the phone in any way.

and im still having that problem that some people have now also had with the storage card and its files not showing up- is the only solution to this buying resco..?

Have had this problem on all of the test roms, usually if i take the card out and close file explorer it solves the issue. Other than that this one is a keeper.

go to settings-buttons-backlight and uncheck that. your keyboard lights will turn on automatically whenever the keybd is pulled out

but my opinion about the whole storage card thing is that its a bigger problem to me since i use the storage card a lot. not really a deal breaker but close. i dont think i should have to buy resco file explorer just to have a fully functional rom.

JD- no harm meant by this bc i like the rom alot and the couple of added features i really like (youtube streams in wmp, random access, dialer, today screen topbar tweaks..), just hope you can find and fix the storage card problem!
