JD, thank you thank you thank you for changing the dialer in the new test!

Also, something I noticed that is completely unique to your ROMs... Things get committed to ROM instantly.

I got a text message when the first boot came up and of course, auto install ran and then reset the phone... usually I'd have lost that text message but when the phone came back on, it was still there!

I even restored my contacts, call history, etc., with PIMBackup and immediately soft reset. Normally, I'd have lost everything again. I generally have to wait about 5 minutes before a soft reset.

The only glitch that was apparent from first boot is that the title bar pops up over the Windows Mobile logo before the calibration screen pops up. RAM seems to actually be about 2MB higher (pagepool change?) and amazingly, it feels even zippier.

Is there anything in particular that you'd like me to test out?

that title bar bug is something that happens sometimes it pops up sometimes it won't .... I haven't isolated that yet and may not .... right now I'm concerned about performance ..... so how is it ... is it ready to for release

Re: JD's ROM's

I would have to say that this is the fastest ROM I've ever used as well.

Seriously great work! No application compatibility issues that I've noticed just yet but I'm just installing all of my apps.

The title bar thing really isn't that big of a deal - at least it doesn't completely disappear like some of no2chem's builds have lol.

EDIT: JD, is there a reason why you always have the device set to not sleep? Out of the box its not set to sleep on or off the charger and has to be changed.

Ok still installing my apps onto test 2, but found 1 small issue.

When assigning buttons (After installing MSVC), I noticed that the picture of the button that usually is on the left hand side of the screen is missing. In other words it just says Button 1, Button 2, etc.... I know what each button is, but only because I do this on every flash.

I will get all my apps installed tonight and run it hard tomorrow. I will give feedback tomorrow afternoon or evening.

By the way, super fast on 6mb pagepool!

Thats not a issue I did that .... not a bug at all ... some people like to reassign those buttons so I just changed the names and removed the icons to make them generic

Gotcha, but how do you know what button is for what if you don't change them as often as I do?

In other words what is Button 1?

edit: Guess you can just test the buttons to see what they do and match up to what they are assigned to. No biggy, if you are going to change them you should probably know what they are for.

lol you are about to complicate this .... why !!!!!!! lol

button 1 -messaging
button 2 -internet explorer
button 3 -wireless manager
button 4 (press &hold) -camera
button 5 (press & hold)-voice notes
button 5-usb manager

now if you change them it would look like this

button 1 -whatever
button 2 -whatever
button 3 -whatever ...... and so on most of the buttons on the titan has a icon on it like the messaging button is button 1

Jak......

Been running it for about 4 hours now.....no problems at all... tested petty much everything except for beam....ICS, GPS, Sprint TV. Sling player, TCPMP, MSVC and IE ran perfect......battery life is normal...sync'd over 400 contacts in 1 minute...I run quite a few apps and still sitting at 16MB.....that is with using TL....and it is a memory hog....I am more than happy with the speed and memory....in my eyes it is ready for release....excellent ROM!!!!.......keep up the great work.....and thanks for letting me test..:headbang::headbang:
