Hey JD, thanks for the awesome rom!

Unfortunately, I have seemed to run into a bit of a problem..the talk button on my mogul doesn't work (not related to your rom), so in using No2Chem's rom, I was able to have the phone app appear through the touch screen under the start menu (and also in the launcher with HTC home)..

However, I have been browsing through the windows directory and couldn't find the phone.lnk in the windows directory..

any ideas/help?

I've been running this ROM for days now... other than having my phone spontaneously shut itself off yesterday (probably not related to the ROM), I've been having no troubles.

I've got TL with the Manila theme and I still end up with about 16-18MB free all day.

I had an expectation of how my phone would work before ordering my XV6800. I was somewhat disappointed after I received it.

Thanks to your ROM, and the GPS radio, it now exceeds my expectations.

any time frame on when the next version is coming out? im comtemplating whether i should revert back to old jds if nothing new will be out for a while or if i should wait til the next one comes out.... long story short i had to reflash phone with ppc kitchen for correct bootscreens, then got garmin working on it, but i like jds rom better, thats why i ask... wow thanks

How can I lock and hide the Extended ROM? Outlook is pretty picky.

JD, the only thing I wish was working on here is the HTC symbol pad. I use it quite a bit.

Other than that, I'm still not having any issues with your ROM. :)

I was trying to send a file via bluetooth for the last 30 min. until I finally realized you had deselected the receive all incoming beams. thanks. lol I was wondering why I could see it but everytime I try to send it would fail.

I think this ROMis missing SQL which is required for jivetalk. Is there anyway to add it without it being built into the ROM?

Jd any chance you can make the bottom bar removable on the today screen on your next build? I know you make roms for yourself but that is the only thing keeping this rom perfect for me.

Still rocking the 8 8 08 rom and this has to be record for longest time keeping one rom.

Interesting glitch today.

Pulled my phone off the charger and started texting and was greeted with a "storage memory is full" screen...

Checked my storage memory and sure enough it said 0.00MB available.

I didn't have any programs running except for Text Messages.

Well I know I haven't installed crap to the phone so this wasn't right... soft reset and bam, 154.77MB free. Curious bug. Lets see if it does it again. I couldn't do *anything* with my phone - couldn't even make a phone call!

Beta v2.10 impressions:

-super FAAAAST!!!!
-never had my mogul boot up this quick after a soft reset
-lovin the comm manager
-no issues with storage card so far
-GPS locked in 6 secs with 7-9 sats (using radio 3.42.40)
-25.20mb after reset with 6mb PP
27.53mb after reset with 4mb PP
-build 19212... Kaiser???
-no bugs to report as of yet
-Ext ROM... yessss!
-seems to be ready for a final release

after almost a full day, i can honedtly say that this is definitely the fastest ROM i have ever used, even with multiple apps running! still have no issues or bugs to report. this beta is already perfect, im really anxious to see the final on this one.

Alltel -- No MMS On New ROM?
 

Just flashed over to it from HTC's latest ROM that was pulled (Alltel).

Everything runs smooth as glass, just two issues:

Is it OK that it says Sprint in certain places even though this is an Alltel phone?

And, I don't have an MMS option at all. It's not that it's not working on this ROM -- it doesn't exist. Any ideas? I have an Alltel PPC-6800 and I downloaded and flashed this thing last night. I ran the cabs for Axcess Shop and some other things. Did I miss something?

you will need Arcsoft MMS(not sure which version) and DCD's Alltel carrier cab

Thanks :) I wasn't sure if it came with and I was just missing it. I remember Arc from my days of MMS on the ol' warhorse 6700.

Can anyone confirm which version is needed for WM 6.1?

19212 is the new\old build off of the official verizon rom yes it also was a kaiser build so 19212 is the new build I've been working with

Installed Lenny's cab and the Alltel carrier cab. I have the option now for Pic/Video, however have absolutely no data connection. It instantly fails, cannot connect. I've checked all the settings, re-applied, hard reset, jumped through hoops of fire, even triple-checked my ##DATA# settings for username, etc.

I even went a step further in frustration and *228 OPT 3 (Activation). I can place and receive calls, send and receive text messages, but no data, no Internet, no nothing. What gives? It was working before I applied Arcsoft...

Hopefully within the week I was wainting to see if verizon would release a vogue rom but it doesn't look very promising .... right now the version I want to release has a bug that I'm trying to work out

ive heard that alltel should have a new 6800 rom out pretty soon, they pulled their last release bc of some problem it had (cant remember what). hear anything like that, or might wait for it jd?
