this isnt just with godaddy

I get this every so often with my work account also. I have multiple mail accounts but only seems to happen with my work one.

I even changed my smtp server to the verizon one and that helped.

I was having no issues for a while until yesterday.

Came across this thread, seems to work for some but not others
