Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

Well hell, I thought you were building ppckitchen roms...thats the only reason we fixed the EV icon. No clue what dcd is using for a base or anything else, but if you're using his kitchen go ask him why his EV icons are jacked up.

I tried 3 different versions. 2 of them work but the issue I'm having with the weather module is with a custom database for my location that is not in the default database list of locations. Why would I want to know the weather of a city I don't live in? In the oem rom I had the HTC home plugin and had my weather module setup for my specific location and it worked great. With this kitchen and wm6.1 it won't allow a customer location, even if I manually change it in the registry. It just continously says it's unable to retrieve data for that location.

LOL no no the ev icons are not jacked up at all. I just was trying to use the alternative EV 1x icon from the 20270 ppckitchen. I like it better than the stock one. That was all. =)

What if I like my stock rom.....I just want to add a big dialer and threaded sms? Is there a way to just add those w/o changing the whole rom?

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

Despite checking all of the settings several times in the registry and in mms options I still cannot get this to work. When sending a message nothing happens - it just disappears after I send it and when the message comes to the phone and I click on "download" the download becomes grayed out but nothing else happens. Any suggestions? I do have two extra keys in the registry - "accept-charset" and "accept-language", I did not put anything in quotation marks, and I did make sure that my connection for mms options was "my isp".

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks,

Will

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

Who is your provider? Also make sure under MMS options you have your provider listed as default server. I have the settings for VZW in my signature.

You know what - I'm just an impatient dumbass. It works now Thanks - I needed to delete old mms and powercycle and it works just fine.

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

I am having problems with MMS, I am using Verizon and it shows verizon wireless in the server tab. It looks like it sends mms but It doesn't download them. I added in a reg key with my number but now I get Error "OK". Seems strange.
