Well the color would always be different (orange, or green) with no real reason. I couldn't rely on it. As for trouble? Nah, screw the light. I need the sound, it's what I've been accustomed to for years. The light is just a fancy blinky LED thing for me.

OOOH!!...look at the pretty lights....to bad it doesn't mean anything to me anymore.

Yeah, I know I'm quoting myself, but I guess I am replying to myself and everyone else. This is issue is clearly related to some type of video driver issue (or lack thereof). Today, I was playing some PocketSand while sitting on the pooper and when I closed it, the top bar went away. All the usual symptoms occurred. But I re-opened PocketSand (since the "games" folder was still open) and then closed it and top bar came back. Some type of overlay/full screen/frame buffer issue. I'm thinking this only happens randomly when an app uses full screen. Anyone else?

I never got a response from my post so perhaps it was looked over. So here I am posting again and hopefully colonel or gguruusa can shed some light.

Does any know where the nicer looking EV/1x icon is in the 202270 kitchen. Is it buried inside a dll file? I need to extract it. If anyone knows your help would be great.

hey guys. is anyone else having an issue where the picture thumbnails are not showing up when in pictures & videos or the picture part of a new message in messaging.

also, can anyone make a cab for the multiple email selection issue?

is the big button dialer fixed for the mogul kitchen.I know i built one of it and it looked horrible..colonel said was going to fix..just wondering if it had been done yet?

This will give you the old EV icon back, no more squished icon if you want! Thanks to colonel for the fix. Unrar this and place this folder in the SYS_20270_QVGA.rar in the following path:
C:\Program Files\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\Kitchens\SYS_20270_QV GA.rar\ Redist_DPI_96 folder after deleting the existing tapres.96.dll file.

Regular EV icon fix here

Help! I went in to the buildos and i keep getting a prompt saying," required welcome module missing; select it in oem and save". I've tried to update and reupdate. There aren't any new updates so I don't understand what the problem is because the buildos was working fine a few days ago. I did and update a few minutes ago when I got ready to update my rom and I got this prompt. I haven't updated my rom in a minute. But I noticed that the most of the options to cook into the rom were gone. Can someone please help asap! Thanks

sorry for not reading through all the posts...

one problem i have been having is when i soft reset, everything gets deleted?

all my emails, text msgs, and pic msgs.

is there a way to fix this? i have a 6800 on alltel. i flashed to this rom about a week ago and everytime i do a soft reset most everything is gone...

You should be able to accomplish this by putting it in your user_oem folder. Of course, you'll have to remember to delete it when the next round of updates comes around...

Most of the options to cook were gone? That sounds like ppcgeeks_oem.rar got deleted, which may be a symptom of your AV software. I'll get an updated ppcgeeks_oem.rar out shortly that corrects a AV warning issue.
