Unhappy double or triple key strokes.

I'm having a couple of issues with my keyboard when I type "you" it shows as youuu with only one key stroke. Can anyone help me with this if there is a registry setting.

You may have built a ROM too big, didn't do a hard reset or if this is your first upgrade then you should remove the battery for 30 seconds. Then hard reset your phone.

A little more detail, please.

Is it just ppcgeeks_oem.rar that's giving you problems, or other files too?
What web browser do you use on your PC?

Re: Titan 20270 GPS kitchen

the only major issue I have with this kitchen that I can't figure out is that I have the "flash light for NO LIMIT" option checked for texts and missed calls, so i can easily see if I have any missed alerts w/o having to turn on the phone. for some reason, even after checking a missed/new text, the light keeps flashing, and doesn't go away unless i get some more texts or restart my phone. this happened in all previous roms, but not as frequently. in this one, it occurs 70% of the time or more, whereas before it would be somewhere near like 10-15%.

i dont have anything special in this rom that I didn't have in the other roms so whatever the cause, I would have to say is rom related, but I dont know why it would happen.

oh, and another minor quibble I have, is if I go to turn off data through task manager, it says ARE YOU SURE, DIRECT PUSH WILL ALSO BE TURNED OFF, and i have to choose yes/no in order to turn it off, this isn't something that happened in previous roms. i am not sure if it's jsut the comm manager I am using (diamond 6 button black) as normally i used the 3D 6 Button one. other than that, so far so good.

Not sure on the text notification issue, this is first report of that as I recall.
On the Direct Push prompt, that is related to the diamond 6 button black comm mgr so let me get with Nex and see if we can turn that off. I've got it myself.
