What's with this memory leak anyway?! I've noticed it on my phone too, I don't understand why the longer the phone is on the less RAM that is available... i don't have anything more running than i did at boot?!

Gotta thank M$ for that... You gotta remember this is software coming from a company who believed at one point in time that 640K would always be enough.

Code bloat makes me sad.

Memory leaks don't stop at 18. They stop at 0.

What you are seeing is an effect of memory management, not a leak.

Put it in flight mode, disable all alarms/reminders, and don't touch it all day...I bet it has the same memory at the end of the day as you started with. When you do things with your phone, even simple things like scrolling the today screen, lots of things happen behind the scenes that can consume memory. Reduced memory does not necessarily mean a "memory leak". A "memory leak" is when repetitively doing the same action results in less an less memory available, ultimately consuming all memory.
