Can no longer flash my ROM.

I suppose a little history to explain the problem should be done.

I am a n00b. I flashed my phone the first time last week and it felt great. I wanted to flash the phone to get GPS ability so I looked for the latest radio and PPCKitchen with No2Chem's 5067. I tried to research and understand the process as much as possible before mustering the courage to burn. I finally did.

I started with the SPL which is what I believe started the problem. I installed the OLIpro 1.2. (I know, it should be 2.40, I'll get there.) after installing the SPL, I installed the 3.42.30 radio and a rom from PPCKitchen.

Funny thing about the Old SPL and the newer ROM, phone reboots every 30 seconds. Makes for short phone conversations. Well, I realized the problem quickly and reflashed the phone's SPL to 2.4 and the rebooting stopped. Actually, everything is working smoothly now. Problem I know have is I can not flash anymore. I have only tried flashing with the RUU through USB. No matter what I attempt to flash, the progress bar reaches 8 to 10% and the phone resets and I get a messages from RUU saying "Invalid command".

I'd like to be able to reflash since my first rom isn't exactly configured how'd I like it. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

What do your settings say right now......what is the SPL, rom and radio versions......check all of them and post.....the SPL will be on the BL screen....the other will be in settings device id.....let me know so we can try and isolate the problem first....

Re: Can no longer flash my ROM.

I've been trying that for a while. It's not doing it. In fact, it's resetting.

Ok try flashing any of the latest roms from SD card......pull the signed NBH from the DL....format your card to FAT32 and then rename the signed NBH file to titaimg.nbh....put it into BL and it should flash....

Re: Can no longer flash my ROM.

Just an update, I flashed via the card with 2.47 and it worked great. I even noticed an improvement with ActiveSync. I love the idea of flashing via SD card compared to USB. if I put the titaimg.nbh on the card, how do I start the update process?

Just put it into BL and follow the on-screen directions....
