Just wondering if anyone has or can make a .cab for nuepackageinstaller.

I need to add a few oems to a non-kitchen rom.

Thanks!

Thanks!

I can't test it right now 'cause I already switched roms to a kitchen version.
HOWEVER I will switch back later and see if it works :)

This will be very handy to a lot of people who don't like kitchens but need to add some oem only applications (like nuetools) to their rom.

Doesn't nuePackageInstaller require the nueToolsBase to work? Also, .net cf 3.5 right?

You will probably need this after installing...you may not but here it is in case the program errors....this was thanks to Justpctech....just unzip it and then move it to Windows....

Re: nuepackageinstaller.cab?

I added that dll to the oem, lol I updated my oem with it.

By the way, the easiest way to install oems, is to look at the initflashfiles.txt, and copy files where it says they should end up, then copy the rest of the files to the windows directory(excluding the dsm, the rgu, and option.xml) then rename the rgu to oemname.reg, and import the registry items using .fred or resco, or the regeditor of your choice. if the oem contains provxml, you can rename it to .xml as well, and import it with .fred also. alot easier than waiting for someone to cab something up for you

here is the base and installer cabs in one zip for anyone else. I forgot to add the reg to the last one as well, use these

Re: nuepackageinstaller.cab?

I've installed the OEM without the base ... what exactly does that accomplish?
