Progress with HTC Video Drivers
DO NOT LOAD THIS ON YOUR MOGUL. Everyone should know that a (**test only**) driver for the video issues that has plagued us with the TyTnII's was released today (July 18th) over at www.htcclassaction.org. Several folks that hang out in this forum contributed to the project from what I hear.
Check it out at: http://www.htcclassaction.org/driver...ate_20080717_1 Update: I have taken down the cab as it seems to make the Mogul hang at the boot screen. Last edited by shifty; 07-18-2008 at 11:11 AM. Reason: Update: Cab does not work on Mogul |

Re: Progress with HTC Video Drivers
wow. i learned alot from this. i had heard rumors about it but didnt think too much about it.
i can only hope HTC is planning a bada$$ update for all of us and that is why it hasnt been released. htc is in the business of making money. they make money by selling phones. they sell more phones if the phone does 'amazing' things. |

For the Tilt crowd, the video performance was so bad on a device that was touted as being a multimedia powerhouse, they had little choice but to provide some sort of remedy to avoid loss of repeat business and perhaps a lawsuit from end consumers or the carriers. -Doc |

Re: Progress with HTC Video Drivers
Exactly. HTC didn't release the drivers and never will - they're a part of the chipsets that Broadcom sued Qualcomm for patent infringement over.
Video performance on the Tilt and Mogul were about equal... now with these new drivers, the Tilt blows the Mogul out of the water easily.
