It might be the same problem. It seems that the lower bar (which should display the keyboard) shows a bar with a locked image of the lower bar keys that do not respond to presses. It is a variant of the Today screen frozen bar that appeared on the older Nuerom 2. No fix yet, other than sticking with the default keyboard on Nuerom3pre1, as that seems to prevent the error from appearing.

Well what I think... it has something to do with the nueROM_SYS files... well this morning before i left to work I kinda mess with the selection where i have sys. files point to the 20273 QVGA SYS so when i get home later I'll have a combination ROM between the NueROM & 20273 QVGA hopefully that should fix the keyboard. I dont know Im just going to experiment with it.=D> with 30mb free ram my phone runs lovely that means i can wait till the Touch pro to come out in Oct. 19

Anyone else getting an error when using NueRom3 Pre2 in a ktichen? I get an error that

Kitchens\NueRom3pre2\noe2chem_SYS\IRDA\Option.xml
"Conversion of string "5/31/2008" to type 'Date' is not valid.

This is happening on all No2Chem Option.xml files for every date. Does anyone know why?

I think its an issue with the new kitchen (it was released today I think). I created a separate thread about it if anyone has any input: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=37609
