Attempted to read or write protected memory.

I copied the selections.txt into projects and the folders into Kitchens. Did I miss something?

Comment out in kitchen_config.txt BackgroundImage=titan.png

You can do this by putting anything in front of the line like *BackgroundImage=titan.png

Kitchen_config.txt is found in the no2chem_titan_core folder

If you do this you will have no problems. The Unhandled exception has occurred is an issue with IE8 beta 2.

Pre3 is pretty kickin. I'm curious what exactly was changed to allow the "extra" memory to be used? I read the earlier post on the site regarding the changes but nothing was detailed. I understand there was tradeoff. Looking for a technical explanation?

Thanks!

Donate folks! It's worth it now. I can't wait for the finished product!

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing issues with the Kitchen, getting 'unable to open kitchen' errors (I've played with the paths in the selections text file, moved the folders around, RAR'd them and put them in the kitchen folder, etc.), but I'm not able to get the kitchen working per directions in this thread that are working for some. I've uncompressed the folders into a new neuROM folder, put that in the Kitchens folder, and moved the selections file into the Projects folder, but still get this message. I uninstalled and reinstalled BuildOS. Am using XP. Let me know if anyone else is seeing this and if there is a solution! thanks

*edit* I originally installed the non-kitchen version of the new build (with Sprint built in--I'm Verizon). I realized this after I had installed, but before I rebooted. I downloaded DCD's Verizon cab and ran it (in case it helped 'fix' anything), and then rebooted. So far, everything works (phone, text messaging, etc.). The only 'sprint' thing I see so far is, when I started internet explorer, it opens a Sprint homepage. Have I screwed things up?? Thanks

Jeff

Well besides the nue 3.0 loader, this is the quickest rom ever! After it boots. Wow fantastic job no2chem. After figuring out how to get my oem's and placement of your kitchen in the ppckitchen correct. Dawm, this titan is smokin' I used the ppckitchen to change the page pool to 15mb. After boot with wktask, SPB Mobile Shell 2.1 and MSVC I have 25MB of free ram. Thank you for the updated base! Just awaiting the BT fix. =)

Cheers!

Mikee
