Just figured I'd make sure you knew that posts like that are going to get yourself flamed on here. I personally don't care, and it doesn't bother me, but figured you should know someone will definitely say something to the effect of "don't push him, he does this in spare time, you are selfish, etc."... Just a word of warning.

My problem with wifi isn't related to No2Chem's roms. I have the same problem with Sprint stock roms.

the bluetooth and wifi antenna are located on the bottom corner, scroll wheel side. http://i1.tinypic.com/6xicyyx.jpg

I find that's where my hand is while holding the phone, also
a drop on this corner could mess with the antenna,
but working while cool and not when hot, does seem to point to a bad chip.

Shaggy, I am fairly confident it is fried. The when it works the wifi light blinks. When it doesn't work the light does blink. Something is fried. I just complete a 1000 mile road trip with the A/C blowing on my phone the whole way and of course wifi worked the whole trip. When we arrived in NC I left the phone in the car for 20 minutes and wifi quit working. Crap.

yea, I figured. that does remind me though, I wanted to get a peltier and come up with a good way to mount it to the phone or vis-versa. my van doesn't have A/C :( and I always have one phone sitting on my dash running Navizon, using gps, cell, and wifi. hot potato anyone..

Do you think the wifi is fried?
