No2,

I am glad to see you are putting up a bugtracker. I had thrown one up on one of my hosting accounts for you to take a look at. (I assume you got the email.) If you are planning to host your own, I will take that down. Just let me know.

Kevan

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge General Discussion Thread

well, this must be error on my end, but im not sure what im doing wrong. I've installed nueSPL to 2.47, ive attempted to install nueROM v 2.2 (tried to install the last two builds) the install goes through, phone does a soft reset, but at the point the screen just freezes at the HTC smart mobility screen. Does any body have an idea why this is happening and/or how to fix this?

Thanks

Let me be the first to say, remove the battery for about a minute, put it back in and all should be well.

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge General Discussion Thread

yesterday was the last straw. My phone kept intermittently rebooting or shutting down with pre 8. I've never had this problem with no2 before! Heck it would reboot while i was using it. It refused to sync up w/my computer so I can back up my newly added contacts. And it also refused to push the info via exchange server (over the air). It was just useless!

For now, i'll lay off nue roms for a bit. Testing out DCD 3.2.3 for the time being. I hope these things get resolved. I'll try to post my grievances to the Reporting thread.

I also ran into the syncing problem yesterday. Between that and programs closing on their own, even while i was in the middle of using them, I had to give up on pre8.

Im on the same DCD ROM and although programs do close on their own, at least two at a time stay open for a long long time, and I can sync!

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge General Discussion Thread

No2CHem,
I am in the direct path of Dolly and it'll be hitting us in a few hours. Please post a new 2.2 ROM since I may have nothing to do for 2 or 3 days. Don't worry, I have two power backup systems on standby for my phone so I'm good to go.

Thanks in advance,
tsp

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge General Discussion Thread

So has anyone else noticed that alarms are jacked up? They sound once and then go straight to a reminder... Its a good thing this ROM has the "Snooze" alarm on it and its loud enough to wake me up the first time it sounds or I'd be in a lot of trouble at work lol.
