ROM Version you are running: 5770-pre8
Applications you have installed: SPB Pocket Plus
Carrier: Sprint

Describe concisely, the issue you are experiencing: IE causes phone to halt and lock up after WiFi is switched on; otherwise IE works fine on EVDO. Soft reset will fix temporarily, as issue resurfaces after a while.

Describe, step by step how to reproduce this issue:
For example, for the issue previously discussed:
1. Boot phone.
2. Switch WiFi on.
3. Run Internet Explorer.
4. Device locks up.

Describe what you expected to happen:
IE should work properly as expected.

Ref Pre-8, what can cause the Titan to stay on and not power off on set time on battery power under Power/Battery Settings? (intermittently sometimes) It is set for 60 secs yet it seems to never go off

I get this problem with base no2 and dcd for whatever friggin reason WMP runs outta memory, even starting with 20mb+. The error is "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation" when running simple 3-4mb mp3/wma files. WMP might be bad, but not this bad. =p

Has anyone noticed more of a battery drain on Pre8? It seems like the power goes down much faster than it did for 5069.

Also for some reason I get a cannot execute powernot.exe. I'm wondering if something is conflicting.

nueROM v2.2 build 5770-pre8
GPSviewer, GPSToggle, HTC Home, Opera 9.5 Beta, Google Maps
Appalachian Wireless

Once a data connection is established the phone will not put the data into standby, once data is no longer being retrieved (the arrows above the signal bars stay solid white and do not gray out). This prevents phone calls from being received, sending all incoming calls to voicemail.

1. Open Outlook
2. Send/Receive
3. Data connection stays active untill killed in comm manager or rebooting.

I expected the phone to put data into standby when not actively sending or receiving.

If you change the "Show on title bar: Clock" to "Show on title bar: Battery" within Advanced Configuration, the battery icon that shows on the title bar is messed up. If you select the icon with the stylus yo get an error message: "The file 'powerexe' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or resotring this file."

1. Open Advanced Configuration
2.
Change the "Show on title bar: Clock" to "Show on title bar: Battery"
3. Reboot phone and icon is messed up.
4. Select the icon with the stylus and receive error message.

I would like the option to remove the clock and use the battery icon, but currently it is messed up.

Seconding this issue, though for me it has something to do with HTC Home or WKTask

Have you actually experienced calls going to voicemail? The reason I ask is that calls should come through regardless of wether data is being received (unless your phone somehow got locked in EVDO only mode). I don't think that has been an issue since the early days of the 6700, and it was adjustable through a registry change to EVDORingThrough or something like that. I think that the solid data arrows are a result of the dialer being used - some of them break the functionality of the active/passive data indicator on CDMA phones. Which is also why ## codes are broken, and why no2chem put an EPST config shortcut in the advanced config folder. I would be interested in having the data arrows function correctly though. I kind of miss that. I wonder if the dialer itself needs to be swapped, or if it is just some kind of configuration that needs to be changed.
