I see this no OK button as well. It seems to happen more often after unlocking nueLock. 2. Also, the hardware buttons don't seem to work until tapping on the screen, then they respond again. (After unlocking). 3. After unlocking, I see part of an application (Could be anything. I have seen Tasks, Calender, Messaging) running in the background, then it disappears and the current app refreshes. 4. In the game Bust'em 2, the graphics seem much slower than in previous Roms. (I had Pre 6 installed before this, and also worked fine in 69k) I have done a hard reset and took the battery out, and these problems are still present. Otherwise, this is an awesome build! What I expected to see: 1. The OK button. 2. Hardware buttons (OK, Windows, Send, End) should work without tapping the screen first. 3. I expect to see just the foreground app that was running before the device went to sleep / locked. |
Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread
Rom Verison: pre 7
Applications installed: ftouchSL, HTC Home, HTC home customizer, Opera 9.5.1b1, google maps, live search, s2p, s2u2, s2v, htc audio manager, youtubeplay, icontact, nevo remote, pointui home, MSVC 1.6.17913 Carrier: Verizon Problem: I have been using pre7 since the day it came out and have had everything installed except MSVC without problems. I installed MSVC today and now whenever I got to start -> settings activesync comes up and the phone completely locks (bottom left softkey says call, bottom right says opitons). Screen/buttons are unreponsive and I have to soft reset. I never make it to the settings screen to uninstall MSVC. This happens every time I try to go to settings. What I expected to happen: non of the above. I can't see if msvc is running because I can't go to settings to assign a button to use it. so far it looks like I can still go to programs using start -> programs. |
Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread
ROM Version: 5770-pre8
Applications installed: iContact, MS Voice Command, Nevo Remote 2.0, Pocket Digital Clock, Pocket Bible 4, SPB Phone Suite, SPB Pocket Plus, Sprint TV, wkTask, Google Maps Carrier: Sprint The issue: Beam settings do not appear to save correctly. Background: I am trying to get Nevo Remote to work by changing some Ir settings. It will probably not work because of the Titan's Ir harware, but it did reveal a potential bug in the rom. Step by step how to reproduce this issue: 1. Start - Settings - Connections - Beam. Initially all four checkboxes are checked. 2. Uncheck "Receive all incoming beams". 3. Click OK (wkTask button in my case) which should save the new setting. 4. Start - Settings - Connections - Beam. Alas, the first option "Enable beams (OBEX)" has changed to being unchecked and "Receive all incoming beams" is still checked. Expected to happen: At step 4 above "Enable beams (OBEX)" should have remained checked and "Receive all incoming beams" should have been unchecked. |

This is the SprintTV that comes with the new official rom from HTC and works perfectly with 5770-pre8. So it is more like a software thing than a rom bug. However, it may still be useful info to No2Chem to know that a previous version of SprintTV that worked in older roms does not work with 5770-pre8... maybe not... maybe? |

Using pre8 Windows Media Player only plays about 30 seconds of a song (sometimes less, never more), then skips to the next one. I have seen this in the past on other ROMs, never fonud a fix Quote:
Nobody has seen this? any fixes for it? |
