what version of skyfire you running? im on 0.61.0.4721.

Page load speed has nothing to do with the problem. The pages load just fine. But when I try to drag across the screen nothing happens, I let go, and about a second later it responds to whatever I did, usually simply placing a zoom box wherever I was when I let go. After I touch it again to try moving it again, it just zooms in. Then trying to navigate while zoomed in is just as slow.

I wonder if it would be a good idea if everyone hit the "thanks" button on each bug/issue that they have witnessed themselves? Then maybe it would be easier to see which are global and therefore more likely to be rom based, and which might be app specific on one persons install. And the powers that be could tackle them in order of rank. Just a thought.

I think this is a very good idea.

ROM Version you are running: 2.2 5770 Preview 8
Applications you have installed: Touch Wait Cursor, MS Voice Command, sMMS, Oxios, Pocket Sudoku, SPB Black47 Dialer Skin, HTC Album (with folder support), JRebeiro EsmertecJbed, SPB Black47 WMP skin, TCPMP .072, Google Maps, Google Search, Skyfire, FlashVideoBundle, SPB Mobile Shell 2.1, SPB Pocket Plus 4.0, Sashimi, Opera 9.5 beta 1, SPB Black47 Theme Skin
Carrier: Sprint

Describe concisely, the issue you are experiencing:
Randomly phone will lose nearly all of its notification settings, so text messages, e-mails, reminders, voicemail, etc. (but NOT ringer) will have ALL of their checkboxes cleared, so I receive no notice that these events occur.

Describe, step by step how to reproduce this issue:
For example, for the issue previously discussed:
Unfortunately I haven't been able to trace a specific cause, so I can't reliably reproduce this problem. All I can say so far is that occasionally I'll turn on the phone and notice a text message or reminder that I had no knowledge of. Then I check the Notifications section and notice that the boxes are all cleared.

ROM Version you are running: pre8
Applications you have installed: HTCHome
Carrier: Sprint 6800

Describe concisely, the issue you are experiencing:
Either no battery icon at all or it is merged with some other icon at the top of the screen. when I click on the mas of icons I get the "the file 'powerexe' cannot be opened"

Describe, step by step how to reproduce this issue:
view battery info in settings

Describe what you expected to happen:
I really only want the battery icon to be displayed and working and if possible to come up to the battery settings screen when clicked on

That's EXACTLY the problem I was speaking of, polargoat.

The speed of the initial page download has zilch to do with it, its navigating the page once its loaded that's near impossible. Like sometimes when you're trying to scroll after it zoomed in, it thinks you were trying to click a link and takes you to another page... its really quite frustrating behavior!!

The Icon portion of it isn't a problem with the ROM this is an issue with a setting in the HTC Home Cab you are installing - I'm attaching a reg file that just contains the following registry entry.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell]
"TBOpt"=dword:00000001
"ShowTitleBarClock"=dword:00000000

This only fixes the Icon issue, the other has existed in all of the Previews since No2Chem introduced the Power Control Panel.

this is a well documented bug of the Opera 9.5.1 beta...it is on their front page http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/download/

the next beta will most likely resolve this as it is a pretty serious bug...

Sorry the Cab didn't work as intended - still learning, it was empty.... I've changed the file above to a registry file that will do the same thing.
