You have to close that message box using the stylus... you can't use your finger anywhere on the OS...

I don't think we'll have much luck getting our keyboard working... but I'm going to see if I can't get at least the menu button and the end call button working. I'm off 4 days this week so I am going to be doing a lot of trial and error to figure it out.

wish it wasnt just a waste of space and actually usable, Looks to be very promising.

Ok I wont say its a waste of space, it is well worth the download if you wonder what it is going to look like. Wish it was something that worked and could be flashed.

tried the newest and much better.

found a bunch of new keyboard actions

right arrow/enter acts as click/enter/whatever
windows key goes back in menus/home
ok is menu button
enter/up arrow goes down in icons
down arrow/left arrow goes up in icons
Q and A also brings up menu
fn/shift goes up in icons
shift goes back/home

phone works, internet works

my location is tracking something.. don't know if it's really tracking someone, or what.. it's on the peninsula here in the bay area.

sms doesn't work

Awesome! Thanks for posting this man. I won't have my high speed internet back till wednesday unfortunately, and I didn't feel like running it on my phone right now, I was just curious what it looked like.

So far, I can already tell that when this is stable on the Titan, I'll definitely be switching. I use Linux on all of my PCs anyway. I just run windows within linux, in vmware workstation when I need to use things like microsoft office accounting and crap like that. Linux is far superior to windows in my opinion, and will take these phones to a whole other level... I can't wait!

When I get my connection hooked back up on wed, I'm going to start helping with the development of Linux apps and all for these phones. I'll also see about getting some of the drivers decompiled/recompiled and working for the Titan so the keyboard, screen, etc... work flawlessly. I've learned quite a bit about programming and compiling programs in Linux from developing this game based off of the cube 2 engine, and also from compiling/customizing just about everything I can on my machine lol. I'll keep you guys posted.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

For those confused by the controls, the 9.0 SDK version has the following controls on my XV6800:

Wake Up: Power Button (and sometimes it won't work...)

(ALL FOLLOWING CONTROLS ON SLIDE-OUT KEYBOARD)
Menu: Q or (OK)
Back: Shift
Home: Windows Key

I didn't see this anywhere, I hope this helps someone in test driving ANDROID on a real device.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Wait... Was there a new version posted? The version I have those keys don't do crap!

EDIT: Yep looks like there is a new version. I got it to boot but it went to sleep and wouldn't wake up... also, after soft-resetting the device, I can't get back in to the OS... I'm going to have to start back over from scratch.
