In the following path:
C:\Program Files\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\Kitchens

find the 000_Shareware.rar, open it, go into the TouchPal-Skin-Diamond folder to find the DSM in question. You can extract it, zero it, add it back and save the rar again. hope this helps.

I've been building with Transcriber, Symbol Pad, Intellipad, HTC Diamond Qwerty and SIP change for my SIP's. I dont do much texting, so hadnt noticed the issues with the Predictive Text yet. Today I worked on tracking that down, and this is what i've found:

select Touch Diamond Keyboard or Qwerty in Input settings. Then click options, then XT9 Settings. On the resulting page, uncheck Next Word Prediction. Ok your way back out and give it a try.
Seems like its the Touch keyboard SIP thats the cause, but its actually the way it works, so not really a bug. If this DOESN'T work for you, please post the SIP's you built with so I can try to duplicate the issue.

I am now only getting this when I hide the lower bar. I use PMC TodayShrink to remove the lower bar from the Today Screen. What happens is the bar disappears and I see the background, or as you see below whatever the last screen was I visited prior to coming back to the Today Screen. Also unlike before the Today screen isn't sensing that it is short as I do not get the scroll bars. That space just becomes a void so-to-speak.

im running same, no problems so far.. try uninstalling ppckitchen and then download buildos and install and run updates and have all the rar files (kitchens,etc) get downloaded that way.. i remember i had similar problme while back and this fixed it

Hmm, that is weird then. If you followed my directions exactly, should have worked. If you don't have SIP Change installed, you may have to change the default SIP to one of the Touch Diamond ones then reset to get it to stick. Then go back in and try to disable Word Completion again, see what results that gives you.

You can also check and use the following regs in your personal OEM if you need to disalbe the auto complete or other things.

Code:

There are others as well, but these should address the commonly reported complaints.

Just wondering what's the purpose of all these new kitchens.

I am running No2 5067 and I'm quite happy..

Why should I upgrade to this version?

SPEED. It is soo fast. I was runing 5067 and it would get bogged down but this has not slowed down yet. I believe this has the same Base as no2 preview7.
thanks to all of the kitchen guys my phone is blazing fast. I compared it to my friends i phone yesterday and my 6800 killed it.
