News
Du to the fact 5067 EXtended_ROM being broken and the newly packed content of updated appz I had to change some install methods. I decided using some cabs instead of OEM's was the best approach and most efficient way to go about this. .02A now uses tiermans auto install to run a group of cabs. OEM's were used to disperse custom settings for the application cabs. There are more changes and different programs changed in this build because they were no longer compatible on 5067. I have been on this build for little over a month with some other testers reports are good and stable now.

-iceRom integration with iceblue.development
The ROM is fully integrated with all productions from iceblue.development. You can use any of my programs, skins, add-ons, or themes without any updates needed or base kits. Most of my packages are already in the ROM including packages that you cannot get outside of this ROM. Just a little perk I keep for the users. Re: iceROM

I am just making a notice. There seems to be a large spike in downloads of iceROM version 0.0.1A. While this is fine and more then welcome from me, after all that is why it is up. I am not sure if people are getting the wrong one and not noticing theres a 1a and 2a posted on the server. I am only noting this because there seems to be an equal amount of 1a and 2a downloads in the past 48hrs. Take care and enjoy the ROM!

Hey flyers, Thanks! Yeah this is long delayed, I have been out of state for past 2 months without a computer capable to uploading or working, IE hotel computer. I just got home other day updated the programs in my OEM that have updated since I left, rebuilt and added it up for you. I leave again tomorrow back out of state for a longer term this time. So probably wont see anything new before 2 months again either. But I put my OEM's up now for both editions and people can make there own iceROM advanced for there kindling hearts.

I can tease you with .3A wont be based on a solid no2 kitchen and will fall victim to my e-scaple.
iceROM 3a = :violent2:

You've got some pretty sweet anime backgrounds in this ROM. Nice stuff. Where do you find your material? What do you use for making your themes?

Thanks I try, I will have some nautical stuff coming out next and user style selectable installs.

I mainly used my collection of photos I have collected over the years on my PC, Google image search, photoshop, and ThemegenCE.

I left some of the settings the same in s2u2 config from v2a private to v2a public basically because I didn't want to build a new s2u2 settings OEM to fully comply with s2u2 1.05. I will fix this on 3A, I no doubtedly know there will be another update at this time as well.

That would be a really slick addition to the kitchen. If you could make something that can customize the theme, as well as some of the more common apps (I honestly don't use S2U2 or most of the other popular skinnable apps, but enough others do) to fit a single style easily, that would be very cool. Heck, I'd consider using some of those apps more if I felt like I could tie everything in my phone together a little better. Right now I've got a little of this, a little of that, and there's no cohesion (just like WM, itself). I've got the SPB Black 47 theme and dialer, the Diamond theme for SPB Mobile Shell, and hell if I remember what my WMP skin is. Something that makes it feel like my phone is ONE system would be great.

Re: iceROM

TurboFool - I know exactly what you mean. That has been one thing I have always had on my agenda to complete. I do admit there are several things I skinned in the ROM just to get rid of the hideous OE skin that follows nothing in my ROM. I would really like to get it down to all my stuff that follows itself, I just suck at graphics art no talent in it.

I was not a fan of SPB usability so I left it out. If I add to much customizations I will have to utilize the SD card as well to install from. Might not be to bad because next edition has allot of game play in it and needs the SD card for storage anyways.

Basic idea is provide a check box say anime and nautical. If you chose anime it will disburse all the anime themes and backgrounds across the system that are currently packed for availability. The cool thing if I use the SD card is it would allow users to develop there own graphic theme packs as cabs for the community to use in the ROM. No longer limiting you to what I pack.
