i think alot of people making the point about the rom not being the ultimate have a valid point, but even if it was only a title, then it was only a titlle. but there are alot of people on here like me who have just recently leaned how to flash roms and as far as were concerned ,they are all ultimate roms

lol...from the looks of what he has at the beginning of the thread....it is HTC....there should be an HTC customize in either settings or programs....its been a while since I used it but when you open it up can fully customize everything clock, etc.....in there will be weather settings....you can change it in those settings.....

Thanks for everyone actually defending me... and to all the people who are posting negative comments... then I would think about giving me some suggestions not just flaming.. remember this is my first ROM so everyone probably started out just putting stuff to together.. this was kind of a test to see if I could make a working ROM and it did work..

Dette, you have to realize that craftmanship is very rarely valued around here. Even if you are someone that is building the kitchens you have people asking "when's the next version out?" or "I can't figure out how to set the HTC Weather to my zip code". I'm a programmer by trade and know you can never satisfy everyone and provide support for everyone at the level they expect (that's why we have outlined procedures for changes, documentation, etc). People complaining that you're using a tool that someone else created to create your own ROM should also maybe be complaining that No2Chem or DCD are just using tools someone else created to create their ROMs. These same people complaining are the same ones that rarely contribute any technical knowledge to creating these ROMS. They'll ask for enhancements, bug fixes, upgrades, new features, and help test at a certain level (and then turn around to complain that SMS threading sucks or the ROM only leaves 23mb free instead of 24mb) but they never are part of a team crafting a new product.

Dette, please continue building ROMs, I've played with a couple of the different kitchens myself, but don't find the time to build-test-rebuild-test-rebuild all the different configurations. I appreciate the work you go through (even though I don't personally use your ROM) and think that others on here should build their own ROMs themselves (based on whatever kitchen they want to use) before piping in about yours.

Hey thanks I appreciate it... The critical reactions that I got have helped think more about building my ROM's and thus made it possible for me to see what I can actually do with ROM's that I didnt know about

Not that I like being criticized all the time but still its kind of like ok lesson learned here lets start on a new ROM based off of what I didnt know before... Thats how you learn.

And to everyone who is criticizing .. If you dont like it.. Dont post theres no need to flame me if you dont like it.. I do see what you guys mean by I should add more originality and I am going to be working on a Vogue ROM based off the new official sprint release if I get the time and hopefully can add more "originality" to it.
