HELP!!!

Hello can anyone help... I'm stuck on the Stewie Arsenal Splash Screen...

I've taken the battery out and did the hard reset but still stuck. This is a new XV6800, (just got it today.)

These are the steps I took:
- Hooked the phone up to my XP PC using activesync.
- Installed the 2.40 Olipro
- Installed Dette's ROM

Should I have done the Radio first or something??? :(

I don't know what to do next.. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks!

Well this is a Sprint ROM.. Should work on the XV6800 if you have a high enough radio.. is your radio version 3.35 or higher?

Hey Dette thanks for the response. I haven't put a radio on it yet, so the radio is still stock. I was going to load the 3.42.40 radio after your ROM.

Do you think there is anyway to break out of this splash screen? Or maybe a way to still connect through activesync? Cause right now I can't do anything..

i tried to load the 4.1 but the version that is on this rom for this thread is the one that is still loaded. In order for the opera mini 4.1 to work I had to use active sync and go through the opera site. It took many time of trying before it worked, after I close 4.1 and then try to reopen opera through start>programs>opera mini it opens the old one but if I go to java instead of straight to opera mini, in programs, it will show where 4.0 and 4.1 are both listed

try and see if you can enter the bootloader power, camera, and reset button all at once.

I found a fix. I installed the cab version of a dialer(from what I can tell any will do) and I installed the newest opera mini 4.1(which if anyone wants the new one I can post it). And with the cab it seems to load and exit quickly.

Thanks s10onn2o and Dette for all your help

After hours upon hours of trying to fix this thing I finally got it.

s10onn2o, I could get the phone into bootloader mode the whole time. There was just no way to connect to activesync. So I went ahead and tried like 3 other ROMs. But I would still get stuck on the Stewie screen. Next I decided to just go back to the stock ROM, found here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376829

Learning from all this I decided to load a GPS Radio first (3.42.40). Then went back to bootloader then added the Dette ROM. Working great now!!!! So happy!!!!!!!

Thanks again!

Sorry for the late response I have been busy all day..

It looks basically like a 5067 ROM with lots of programs added -- is that right? Does it have the newest version of S2U2?

EDIT: After downloading your ROM, and looking at the RUU, it is apparent that you made this with the PPCKitchen. It would have been good of you to at least thank the folks over there who put together the tools which made your ROM building possible. Not to mention that you should thank no2chem who's countless hours of hard work went into "your" ROM.

EDIT x2: I see that you finally thanked the people who made your rom possible.

LOL, I love people like this. Sometimes you need to read between the lines.. It sounds like what he was really trying to say is thank you for sharing.
