Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
Either method will work, but your radio is already updated, so little point. 3.49 has known issues - I'd upgrade to something newer.

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
OK, I give - where is there something newer than 3.49 base rom image?

There's that and no2chem's roms and the 19588 kitchen.

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
Thanks C2: now what? Do I flash the Sprint 3.56 image and then re-flash the custom? Since this is a 'ship' - released version I'm sure it's worth while.

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
yea, you will need to flash back custom since your verizon
|
Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
Will it also downgrade the radio? I see it says 3.42.02 - mine shows 3.42.30.
I'll take it that I'll have to re-upgrade the radio if it does that. I guess I can just do it and see what happens. Obviously not hard to do either way. |
Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
Does anyone know what the 'Special_4350.nbh' file is for that is included in the ...3.56.exe i.e., what happens if you flash that to the phone?

Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
I seem to have lost my ability to flash from SD card.
I've tried re-formatting, copys via usb (card reader on PC & activesync) neither makes a diff. Only thing I can think of that I haven't tried is formatting by the phone. Any thoughts? |
Re: Simple steps to flashing your own rom
that stock rom I would have just flashed it via the computer. then when you put the rom on the sd card are you remembering to name it TITAIMG.nbh case sensitive?
