i'm still a little unsure about the logistics of this. what would the parent-forum be? titan? what happens when a base gets ported to the vogue?

I am actually getting to like the wiki that xda has. nice to know that the info there is from an authoritative source.

Good point. No2Chem is only one man and, although some members can answer certain questions for him, his hands are fuller than full.

Seriously dude, on release days, I've seen no2chem's thread EASILY surpass 50 posts in a single 24 hour period. Just imagine how annoyed he would get sifting through 50+ threads... with other people replying here and there making them look new... I'd be livid in his shoes lol.

if only we had moderators to merge, edit, and delete posts, and keep things in line

Once again, I have to agree with you. I definitely retract my original response to this suggestion. No offense to the OP but....well just look at the above post that I quoted and know that it is easily true.

LOL, ok but really there's no easy solution to this... and plus we've yet to even get No2chem's opinion on how HIS threads perform... I'm thankful that he even branched this one off from the old nuerom 2.0 thread that was like 4500 posts long. the organization and execution of this has gone better than the last i must say.

knowing no2chem he's gonna continue tweaking his threads for the better the same way he tweaks his roms. hopefully 2.2 will get a brand new thread or two, one for post, links, updates, and other communication from him ONLY, and another for bugs, support, etc.

I think anyone distributing roms should have their own subforum

2.2 will have its own thread for sure. I'm the one that originally suggested that no2chem fork his threads and as soon as 2.1 came out, he did.

I am a forum admin (as in, I own my own forum) and I can't even begin to tell you how much more convenient it is to have everything in one thread versus 25+

Since No2 does development...
Isn't there a section already established for such things?

One way to cut down the useless posts by about 50% would to be quit responding to them. If someone doesn's search properly (or in a way to suit the almighty expert searchers), just ignore the post. No need to berate them with another useless post that says "reading is fundamental" or "Search is your friend". The same would stand for other posts that are off topic.
