altell 6800 upgrades

can the ppc 6800 from altell get the i-phone touch screen program. someone tried beaming it to me but it is unalbe to be opened. it said something about certificates not being trusted. then i tried to downlaod it from the iphone web page. i had an active sync with my phone and computer, but it showed files being moved from the site to my computer and it didnt show if it was sent it to my device. what do i have to do to get this program on my phone???
