if you are running an unlocker like OliPro 2.40, just leave it. I have that installed and had no difficulty installing ROM 3.56 on my Vista computer.

Just plug your phone into the computer and run the file as it is an executable.

Just a note, on my flash, the phone disconnected the connection once prior to showing the progress bar on the phone. A few seconds later it started right up. Just wait a moment for it to progress.

I am getting 13mb free, but been using sprint TV, texting, testing out GPS apps, just about everything on the phone I have been through. Still seems really fast. I work in a rural area in Kansas and my roam wasnt working, got back around the Manhattan Kansas area where evdo and sprint towers are, then I was fine. Hope it works at work tomorrow?

I had that problem at first but it seemed to be because I was roaming, I guess? Unless I fixed it by cussing at?

i believe everyone is having a problem with roaming... the rom doesnt have a roaming feature

i can get calls when roaming just no internet and texting is really mesed up, anyone that sends me a text shows up as unknown user or something like that.

I am roaming right now and not only have internet but have it teathered using WMODEM.

ummm.....no....that is htc's X-button....and that app is a hack which historically causes more problems then it "fixes".....it is notorious for memory leaks...

i mean the Windows Task Manager that is supposed to be built into the OS and has been in every other version of WM6.1 that i have flashed but is mysteriously missing....

I can't seem to get off roaming, and onto Sprint. It finally switched to Sprint when I got home. I live next to a Sprint tower. Man, this rom is fast, and kicks #ss.

it is supposed to be there. normally they just remove the link. If you go to windows folder you should be able to find it there.

Had to get a replacement mogul today since my power key and keyboard wasn't working. Without asking the sprint rep told me to go to the windows mobile site to upgrade the mogul to 6.1 since it came out today. Figured I go check but it wasn't there. But I guess that could be a good sign that what we have here in the forums now is the real deal.

sprint still has not posted the update on www.sprint.com/downloads then select windows ce
also checked: http://www.htc.com/us/FAQ_Detail.aspx?p_id=75&act=sd and not their either. So right now until sprint offically releases it (i would say on a monday) then this is not official and be cautious. all we know terrorists could have made a rom and included some sort of package in it... bottom line unless we know sprint releases it, we can not be sure it is safe from terrorists.

i used the first leaked betra 3.49 and i will exchange my mogul this week for a touch...so i am using the stock rom.... tired of low memory, run alot of stuff.

Just to let you know hunnys, spb backup 2.0 rom upgrade doesn't work with this...the after restore it doesn't start up right...though I only tried it wit the overwrite existing files check...so i might work without it!!!!

im noticing that pocketcm works, but it isnt showing up on the bottom right corner neither (where contacts are). usually it just pops up after i download it......hmmm
