Problems flashing - "No image found"
Hi all,
I've been having a pretty frustrating problem flashing a new rom to my Mogul and would appreciate any insight. I've looked through the wiki as well as searching the forums but found no solution that works thus far. Whenever I try to flash to DCD 3.1.2 (or even the new sprint rom) and radio 3.39, it gets to the bootloader screen, and I see a quick message flash that says something to the effect of 'No image found', then it just stays on the bootloader screen. I can get out of bootloader by simply restarting. It appears that at least part of the issue is that my PC doesn't recognize my mogul as being connected when I'm in bootloader mode. I'm using DCD 3.04 with radio 3.35.04, with 2.40 Olipro. Obviously I've upgraded before so I'm not sure why this suddenly became an issue. As per the posts I've read on this issue, I've tried removing the SD card (even though the rom image isn't on it), using MTTY to fix a bad rom flash, but nothing has worked so far. I've also tried formatting my SD card (FAT32), renaming rom file to TITAIMG and putting in the SD root folder, but still nada. If anyone has any insight at all, it'd be greatly appreciated! You guys are great! Thanks! |

Re: Problems flashing - "No image found"
Hmmm...Well, actually, I used storage tools to format the card to Fat32 on my mogul - So maybe I don't know all that much. :) Oh, and yes, the file does have the .nbh extension.
Would formatting it on my mogul have made the difference? (I did it that way because I don't have a reader handy). Thanks for your response! |

Re: Problems flashing - "No image found"
Here's the commands to do it in DOS
Flashing a phone with a micro SD card 1. Format a microSD card into FAT32 with an allocation unit/cluster size of 1024 (the default size for a 1 GB would not work, also if it takes only a few seconds to format try formating with some other slot/device. A 1 GB took over a minute to format correctly) To format your Card - Open a DOS box and type/copy and paste this: ( format ?: /FS:FAT32 /A:1024 ) Replace the ? with whatever your SD cards drive letter is... ie: f, h, I.... Mine is G.... 2. Copy the ROM to flash (xxxxxxxx.nbh) to the root of the microSD 3. Rename the ROM xxxxxxx.nbh to TITAIMG.nbh 4. Insert your card. 5. Force into the boot loader with POWER-CAMERA-RESET 6. Follow the instructions and you'll quickly flash your Titan... |
Re: Problems flashing - "No image found"
Alright, here's where my newbie side may show itself, but as far as I saw, my PC only recognizes the SD card as a folder on my phone - Not as a separate drive...so no way to format it by connecting my phone to my PC....unless I'm missing something, of course. Obviously, I can get a card reader, but it'd be great if there was a way to do it without it.

Re: Problems flashing - "No image found"
I have tried all of the above as described, and I still the the "No image found" error when trying to load from the SD card onto a 2gig storage card.
Anyone have any more suggestion on this problem? |
