Installing new ROM

Heyas folks,

I'm kind of embar***** by asking this since I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but I'm EXTREMELY nervous about flashing to a new ROM. I have an XV6800 from Verizon and would like to enable GPS and Rev. A. I'm fairly certain I want to install NueROM. I'm getting so *&^%&en confused. I've read all the newb guides and tons of posts. I know I need to unlock first, then install the bootloader, then radio and then finally the ROM. Almost every post refers to installing Sprint radios and this confuses me. Is there a verizon radio or will the sprint radio work on verizon's network. I'm hoping someone would be willing to walk me through the process step by step. I have almost all major messaging systems if that's any help. Is there anyone willing to do this, or is it simply "suck it up noob and just do it?" GOD I hope not. Thanks in advance for responding.

Re: Installing new ROM

If you install a neuROM (and I highly recommend it), it will customize based on your carrier. All you need to do is follow the screens on first boot and you'll be good to go.
