Verizon is evil on my xv6800

Well i have a xv6700 and moderately updated her thanks to you all. So i get a new xv6800 recently and they screwed the ability to use the device as a modem without paying!! WTF I say! So if I flash my 6800 will i get my bluetooth PAN back. (I promise to only use it twice a year). It seems a lot of peeps are flashing sprints to vzw in these forums for gps but I dont see anyone with my specific issue.

Any assistance welcome! Or is there another way to get the PAN aworkin again....
