Pop out keyboard
 

I am having trouble with my keyboard. When I go to type with the pop out keyboard it doesn't work until i close, then reopen the keyboard. I just formated to 5067 with the latest pre-release radio. (sprint). I first noticed with opera mini 4.1, but it also happens with PIE. actually, come to think of it, my other buttons have been acting wierd lately too. Bad flash maybe?

Or hardware issue.... Reflash to find out.....

has anyone had issues with the keyboard double/tripple typing keys? or missing spaces? I can barely send texts with the keyboard anymore because tthhey alllloook likkkeethiss

Sounds like a hardware issue. I have my blue dot button going out and it doesn't work when pressed soft and will hit multiple times when hit hard.

5067 is supposed to have a fix for this included, what are you running?

I'm running the official sprint ROM: 3.35.651.2 radio 3.35.04
what is 5067?

no2chems baskit in the rom kitchen = 5067. Have you ever flashed a rom before? if so, grab a coppy of the kitchen and flash away, or, you could also try nuerom, if you have never flashed, we will have to get no2chem on the line and ask him what the fix was

OK, i am a little hesitant to flash a non official ROM, especially when some threads here have testers stating that the official ROM is much more stable than any of the custom ones, but if it fixes my keyboard ill give it a shot. Its just a pain to reinstall all my apps, and get the settings back to the way i like them.

I have never flashed a ROM before, only ran the sprint executable for 3.35, but i don't have a problem doing it if its the only way to fix this glitch. It seems pretty straightforward.

perhaps someone has a cab'ed up fix for the keyboard tweak in 5067 so i can keep 3.35?
