Upgraded radio - getting invalid fone # msg

I upgraded the radio only to 3.39.10 on my XV6800 and now am getting "your mobile number is either inactive or invalid". Did not know to save/copy things like MSID (not even sure what these are or how to re-program fone with them). How do I fix this?

Still have XV6700 unchanged from when I switched to new fone. Will this have the necessary info and, if so, how do I retrieve it?
