Verizon is runing a reduced data plan on the xv6800 its only $30 for unlimited vs. $45 for any other pocket pc.

Hmmm. That is tempting. I'm a college student though. What money i have to spend gets prioritized between my GF, Computer (games too) and then if there's something left over... i can spend it on stuff like a data connection.

The second problem is im on a family plan still since i can call everyone back home for free that way. Not sure if they'd add the data in at the reduced rate.

Third problem is... i spend so much time on campus i have wifi 80% of my waking hours. I dont think i'd get enough usage to justify having the data plan.

Pluz... 4 months of data plan = cost of GPS program i can use with out a data plan. If all i want the data for is googlemaps it doesnt reall justify the expense.

Lol, sounds like i'm crapping on your post. I appreciate the info... i might do it anyways i'm bad with money like that. =P

Woah... hold up. Your carrier says "Verizon Agent"?? You mean to tell me that some one at verizon knows something about phones!?!?!?

That just about restores my faith in humanity.

This is a golden opportunity. If you say my post above, what can i do with the family plan data thing?

It will be $30 monthly added to the line you are using for the xv6800 unlimited email and web for smartphone (correct name for the $30 data feature). Everyone else's billing will be the same.
