Tip - MMS notification options
 

Just a little tip for you guys. I was bored and was cycling through the registry of my XV6800 and came across this, thought it would be neat to change and get more options.

Ever notice how when you go to your notification settings, for Messaging: New MMS, there are very limited options (like vibrate, flash light for, play sound, etc...). Well, here's the registry value you need to edit to get the options available:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{C346 5585-39EF-4c9b-B2A3-5558BF27BFB0}]
"AvailableOptions"

Change this Value from whatever your's is, to 0, and this will open all the options for you.

Not a huge deal, but it may be useful to some of you!

Do we need to load a separate program to edit the registry on the 6800 or is a reg editor already included.

i am familiar with editing the registry on a PC but i have not tried it on a PPC

you do need a separate program. WM does not include regedit like most other windows products do. I use PHM RegEdit.
