Internet sharing disconnecting after update

I put this in the General forum last week and had no success, so since it relates to an upgrade I decided to post it in here too. A while back I upgraded using the ppckitchen.org app and afterwards I could connect with Internet Sharing, but after a few minutes it would disconnect. I installed wmodem and had the same results, so I downgraded back to original ROM and had no problems using either program. When the official Alltel ROM came out I decided to upgrade again, but had the same results. I downgraded and rebuilt a rom with PPCKitchen, same results. I then went back to original rom and have had it for the past week or so and Internet Sharing works great. Last night I tried again to upgrade to the official Alltel ROM, still having disconnect issues. Anyone have any suggestion? I absolutely have to have Internet Sharing or WModem so unless it gets fixed I'm stuck with the gay original rom with no GPS and no 6.1 ROMS. Thanks a lot for any suggestions.
