they sent me to data support
if you have an error code 11 ppp connection they will send you to data support. Then you can ask if they can perform a DMU reset. In total it took 15 minutes.

It never said error code 11 ppp connection or whatever that is lol. It just wouldnt keep the password in the username password input area. or is that the error? oh well. hopefully wont go through it again!

yeah fri, sorry forgot to update, but i reverted back to stock to test to see if this will work, and once i asked for a DMU reset, the guy sent me to tech support. took about 15 minutes in total, but i got my stock ROM back, and data was working. flashed back to DCD.

I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that you reverted from the GPS rom to 2.09, this is not supposed to work. Read ImCokeMan's threads about the Titan relocker. Can you tell me exactly the process you went through?

On another note, though, if data is broken, go online, choose activate equipment, and enter your phone's ESN but change the last number, and then change back to your phone. This resets data. No need to deal with ridiculous customer support.

i only did it because i was bringing it back to the store for a brand new one. the refurb they gave me was a disaster. and i couldnt leave my cooked ROM on there. and i just flashed back to stock VZ ROM using this thread i came upon by geckotek http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=21161

of course, it broke my data like i knew it would, but since i was bringing it in anyway, tried a DMU reset and it worked(:

I was having problems with some stuff and wanted to put the stock back on to see some stuff. Obviously it does work now, just sucks i went through getting a new phone, but i guess it doesnt break data after all.

While flashing my phone back to stock I ran into the data problem as well. I then flashed to No2Chem and was having a hard time getting it to install to Olipro2.40 Once I flashed the No2Chem my phone completely died....at first a red LED, now absolutely no power going to it at all....They have a phone being sent to me but without being able to turn this one on and get everything back to stock...it has me a little worried....anyone have any ideas?

That sounds like download mode and the reason i warn people against this, as said before it may look like it works to revert to pre-gps, but its very dangerous. I hope this helps clear it up for some.
