Re: RAM upgrade real?
"This 64MB to 128MB RAM upgrade will be on sale at a special price of $149.99 until Friday, February 8th!"
That's according to the first link posted in this thread. Is it really worth it in comparison to a 16GB Micro sd card for much less?

What's in a name? That which we call a genius by any other name would be just as smart. I beat up Sprint and all I have to show for it is this lousy When you were in diapers and wetting the sheets I was out hacking with the ppcgeeks. |

Re: RAM upgrade real?
Not for $150 many people only paid $220 for thier phones, just wait till the new HTC releases and renew your contract...IMO

Re: RAM upgrade real?
I've actually contacted them about it before. They said they do not currently offer a RAM upgrade for the Titan, and have no plans to offer one in the future due to the device architecture.
Personally, I'm with the people above who would rather just make do for now and upgrade to a new device in the future. The RAM would be nice, but it wouldn't be worth more than $50 for me. |

For those that didn't follow the link, matt19 (D/\SH @ smartphonejunkie) claims* to have upgraded the RAM in the Titan using chips available for the Apache. Could be an interesting development. * When I say "claims" I'm not trying to be insulting or accuse you of misleading us, but at this point there is little evidence to support this. This is the internet after all |
