ok, thats what I thought we would find for bootloader. so what you need to do, is run the HardSPL unlocker again. follow the directions for it EXACTLY as they are displayed in the window. it should tell you to unplug your phone and replug it at one point. be SURE to do that or it will fail again. if the bootloader screen will show USB at the bottom, then it IS recognizing your phone. so run the unlocker again and try to get the Olipro 2.40 bootloader on there and you will be set.

and on that note, how do i sync to get it to run?

It probably will say some stuff about activesync. If it does you have no choice to ignore it and proceed. Make sure before you flash your ROM that your bootloader says Olipro 2.40. If not try this package again.

If you can't get this to work, you need to flash the stock ROM with radio and try everything again EXACTLY how the sticky at the beginning of the upgrade section says.

I was just re-reading your first post and realizing maybe you never ran unlocker yet. You can download it from my website here:

and if your phone in bootloader mode says USB when you plug it in, it will work.

running the unlocker for 15 min, and nothing happening....

nothing at all? does your phone in bootloader mode say USB on the bottom?
you might try restarting your pc there too...it will do wierd things to a machine sometimes running this stuff. and you might have to disable USB in ActiveSync also.

running unlocker now, disabled usb in windows mobile center....im running vista, does that make a difference on anything?
should the unlocker say something as its running?

aw crap, Vista. should have thought about that. there 'might' be some special drivers you have to use. it should show the progress as it runs in a MSDos looking window if I recall correctly. if you aren't seeing that, check the unlocker thread and the Vista instructions should be there.

which Vista OS are you running piranah? i've just found out the unlocker doesnt run on Vista X64 correctly.
