Ok how did you fix the problem with phone codes not work? I'm having the same issue. I hit ##3424 or ##000000 and it actually tries to dial the number instead of starting diagnostic mode.

Anybody have problems keeping the phone in EVDO mode?

For some reason when I am in EVDO mode the phone will switch back to 1x when ever it connects to data.

Is there a fix for this?

Does anyone have a stock USCC ROM with WM6.0 that they can upload?

I've never flashed a ROM before, and in all my nervousness, even though I read up on this and read the steps dozens of times I still managed to forget to upgrade the radio before I upgraded ROM.

I can get it into bootloader mode still and I'm all but sure I can still flash a stock ROM back onto it.

I do not believe there is a uscc stock rom available, several people have been trying to get one from uscc, utstarcomm and htc with no luck so far.

Just run through the steps again. I have done it and so far I have not had any problems of flashing not working.

Have had other problems though but nothing serious.

On a side note here.

I just put radio 3.42.30 on my phone which is USCC using the transflash card .nbh file install. Went smooth and easy.

So far I have not noticed much of a difference but as for problems there was none.

Flash with caution!! Even though it worked for me IT MAY NOT FOR YOU!

Must have not followed instructions properly. The only thing i can think of is that i didn't exit Hard-SPL-MFG before BuildOS did its thing. The device looks like its going to boot and then hangs. Tried a hard reset and everything multiple times and still nothing. Also, since i can't get it to boot i can't do anything with activesync. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Try to build another ROM using buildOS and load it. Activesynch will not work since the phone does not boot up. But as long as the phone is recognized by the PC that it is there as a SERIAL connection there should be no problem with loading a new ROM on to it.

Hold the Power and Camera key while pressing the Reset button. That will put it in bootloader mode then load another ROM on it using buildOS.
