Help, I'm a noob

I recently had to upgrade to a 6800 on Saturday. I've been upgrading on my 6700 for nearly two years and then the usb port went on the fritz. I upgraded to the 3.49 rom with the 3.39 radio. After doing so I noticed everything worked well for the first day which was Sunday. Later that night I noticed that the phone would suspend itself without me telling it to do so. In S2U2, I set it so it wouldn't turn the power off or suspend and in the power settings, I made sure that the power wouldn't turn off there either. After a few moments, after the backlight goes off S2U2 kicks in like it's supposed to but then after 1-2 minutes it will suspend and the screen will shut off. This is my business phone so I need the screen to always stay on and besides, on my apache I never had this issue. Can someone, anyone, anyone at all, please help me. I imagine that there may be a registry edit for this but I'm not familiar. So please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
